Talent Acquisition Manager 

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing the talent acquisition team. Managing the recruiting pipeline and process from driving applications to hires. Posting all jobs and job ads when required to help fill the funnel. Responsible for all reporting of recruiting metrics, training, and coaching of recruiting, and various HR and administrative tasks.

 Essential Functions

  • Management of talent acquisition team along with being responsible for touch bases, growth, and annual performance reviews.

  • Reviews all online job and ad posting websites on a routine basis and recommends the company’s use of those sites that are relevant and cost-effective.

  • Will be a recruiting resource if/when needed for coverage and/or launches 

  • Drafts and provides final job offer letters 

  • Manages the company’s Applicant Tracking System by ensuring each applicant is accurately tracked throughout the recruitment workflow

  • Responsible for all reporting from recruiting on a weekly and monthly basis.

  • Responsible for maintaining the hour’s change/budget change request

  • Meets with field Ops managers to maintain weekly changes  to staffing needs

  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university, local workforce organizations, and community college placement offices as a sourcing tool

  • Schedules  and attends  job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants

  • Final decision maker and owns relationship on MVR and background checks

  • Researches analyzes, prepares and presents hiring statistics

  • Maintains records  on recruiting activities; such as applications, job postings,  and openings

  • Participates in the development of annual recruiting budget

  • Aids in administrative duties for all markets

  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems

  • Responsible for hiring decisions on a weekly basis

  • Assists in maintaining human resource information system records and  compiles  reports  from  the database

  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and onboarding

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

This position is responsible for the supervisory of the talent acquisition team. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Recruiting.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files,  open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

 Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position and 40 hours are required weekly, but not limited to just 40.  Office hours are Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM with the expectation to work at least 8 hours daily. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties demand. Schedule deviation and work at home situations will be considered and approved on a case-by-case basis.

*Changes in daily hours can be approved by your Manager for special circumstances

Travel

Little to no travel is expected for this position currently but could develop into travel as the role evolves.

Required Education and Experience

  1. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. 

  2. Current or previous experience in a management role. 

  3. 3-5 year of work experience in a recruiting or HR role
